Spring 2024 burn season is March 1 - June 15 subject to the DEQ daily burn advsory.
Within burning season, specific weather conditions such as inversions, high winds or low humidity will still prohibit burning.The Adair Rural Fire District follows an ODF/DEQ Willamette Valley Open Burning Annuncement to account for these variables. Do not call the Adair Fire Deparment as stated in the ODF/DEQ website, simply follow the bold text in the section titled "backyard burning inside special control areas." Unless there is a clearly commuinicated local burn ban, Adair's fire district allows burning locally based on the start and stop times on any day the ODF/DEQ webste allows.
